Richmond AQP Musculoskeletal Service: patient experience audit report July - September 2013

A patient satisfaction survey for the back and neck pain service has provided very positive results, with all patients either ‘very satisfied’ (85%) or ‘satisfied’ (15%) with the treatment/advice they received from the service.

The Back and Neck Pain service is commissioned by Richmond CCG under Any Qualified Provider (AQP) since October 2012, and Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust's physiotherapy service is one provider. 

Other key results from the survey: 

  • 98% of patients were either ‘very satisfied’ or ‘satisfied’ with their physiotherapy assessment and the advice they received

  • 100% of patients said the physiotherapy team were ‘always’ considerate, ‘always’ respectful and ‘always’ professional

  • 100% of patients would be ‘extremely likely’ or ‘likely’ to recommend the service to family or friends.

  • 92% of patients reported understanding their problem after their assessment with 6% party understanding
