There are Shake Ups inspired by the new Disney·Pixar film, Finding Dory
A new summer health campaign for kids, run in partnership between Disney and Change4Life, launched last Tuesday.
Disney has collaborated with Public Health England and Hounslow Council, to support the 10 Minute Shake Up campaign, to help motivate children to do 10 minutes of exercise by having their favourite Disney characters spurring them on.
The Change4Life 10 Minute Shake Ups with Disney are back for a third summer to encourage children to get the 60 minutes of moderate to intense physical activity they need each day with fun 10 minute bursts of activity.
One You Hounslow will be promoting the new campaign by hosting 10 Minute Shakeup sessions for children every weekday lunch time between 12-2pm at Studio 700, Treaty Centre, from 11– 29 July.
Councillor Corinna Smart, Cabinet Member for Public Health and Leisure, Hounslow Council, said: “We’re delighted to be part of an exciting project like this. The summer holidays can seem really long but there are lots of great ideas to get children up and about with new 10 Minute Shake Ups”
She said: “Lots of children love Disney characters and I am sure this will help motivate and encourage them to take part in some form of exercise with much enthusiasm.”
For 2016, there are even more interactive Shake Ups than last year, including those inspired by the new Disney·Pixar film, Finding Dory.
No booking is required to attend Studio 700’s 10 Minute Shake Up drop-in sessions but if you would like more information on the sessions please callOne You Hounslow on 020 8973 3530 or email: Changeforlife.email@example.com
