Patients receiving care from Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust’s community nursing service are extremely likely to recommend the service to their friends and family according to a recent independent report.
The survey carried out by Quality Health, an independent NHS survey provider, reported a major increase in the number of patients recommending trust services across Hounslow and Richmond. This year’s survey reported a 13% increase of patients who are “extremely likely” to recommend the service to their friends or family if they needed treatment compared to 2014. Overall 85% of local people were “extremely likely” or “likely” to recommend the service.
There has been a 7% increase in the patients rating care as “excellent.” Overall, 90% of the survey rated care as excellent, very good or good.The survey also reported a 12% increase in patients saying that they had confidence in the health professional that they saw compared to last year’s survey. There was an excellent response rate to the survey, up from 30% last year to 48% this year.

This has all been achieved in a period when the community nursing service has been facing unprecedented demand and has delivered nearly 1000 extra visits every week compared to just two years ago. This is a tremendous achievement by our community nurses which they can all be truly proud of.”
