Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust (HRCH) has appointed Ginny Colwell to the position of board advisor on the trust’s board of directors.
Ginny is an experienced healthcare professional, having worked in the public, private and charity sectors. Ginny began her career as a staff nurse, she worked from 1997 as an executive director of nursing at Royal Surrey County Hospital, and since 2007 as a non-executive director at Surrey Central Health, and now at the Queen Victoria East Grinstead. Ginny was also previously deputy director of nursing at Great Ormond Street, where she spent the majority of her clinical career.
In her role as board advisor at HRCH, Ginny will provide clinical challenge and expertise to the trust’s board of directors - supporting and shaping organisational vision and strategy, and achieving a balance of board level skills.
Chairman of Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust, Stephen Swords said: “Ginny brings a wealth of clinical leadership and management experience to our board of directors, within an advisory capacity. We look forward to drawing on her considerable expertise to help shape the future of community health services across Hounslow and Richmond.”
