The NHS Trust Development Authority (TDA) has confirmed the appointment of Su Sayer CBE as a new Non-Executive director at Hounslow & Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust.
Su has created, led and developed the organisation United Response, which supports people with learning disabilities or mental health needs, and was awarded a CBE in 2012 for services to disabled people in the UK. She is also currently a Trustee of the Silver Line Helpline, an organisation that provides helpline support for older people, and is Vice Chair of Seaford College.
Su also has extensive knowledge and experience, having held other Non-Executive roles in a range of health, social, education and charitable organisations.
Su said: "I am delighted to be joining the Trust and to have this opportunity to work for my local community."
Stephen Swords, Trust Chairman, said: “I am delighted to welcome Su to the Board of Directors. She brings to the role experience and knowledge that will play a valuable part in our future.”
The post carried a remuneration of £6157 per annum and Su will serve as a Non Executive Director from October 2013 to March 2016.
