The Cardiac Rehabilitation service provides physiotherapeutic assessments of cardiac function and exercise ability.
The aim of the service is to:

Assess cardiac function and exercise ability

Educate patients in how to manage their condition and exercise safely

Provide an optimum exercise programme appropriate to individual need.
Assessments and rehabilitation classes
Phase 2 assessments are carried out with individual patients; and Phase 3 cardiac rehabilitation is delivered in groups.
Cardiac rehab classes are delivered at Teddington Memorial Hospital twice a week and is is designed for patients living with coronary heart disease.
The eight-week programme includes supervised exercise and relaxation sessions to help patients recover quickly by introducing a healthier lifestyle tailored to patients' needs and by making appropriate lifestyle changes. Find out more here.
