Referrals are not required for the majority of the contraception and sexual health services - which are walk-in, open access services.
However referrals are required for both the Psychosexual clinic & the appointment-only specialist clinic on Wednesday mornings, details below:
This service is open to patients registered with Richmond GPs only and referrals to the Psychosexual clinic can be made by the patient's GP only.
To refer to this service, GPs should write to:
Dr Sally Tattersall
Teddington Health and Social Care Centre
18 Queens Road
Specialist clinic (IUD/IUS/Implants)
Women can self-refer to the Wednesday morning specialist clinic (IUD/IUS/Implants), but need to ring to make an appointment by calling the Contraceptive & Sexual Health Service at Teddington Health and Social Care Centre on: 020 8614 5300.
Women can also self-refer for implant replacement/removal but need to make an appointment:
** Please note that, due to staffing issues, we will not be holding a specialist clinic on the morning of Wednesday 10 August 2016 and that there will be no doctor at the evening clinic on Thursday 11August 2016 **
