Diagnostics (Richmond)

The Diagnostic department at Teddington Memorial Hospital provides facilities and staff, in conjunction with West Middlesex University Hospital (WMUH) clinical imaging services, to support referrals from general practice, outpatients, inpatients and the Walk-in Centre for both adults and children - seven days a week.

The walk-in centre is unable to x-ray children under 2 years of age.

PACS digital imaging technology, with computer links to the West Middlesex Hospital, enables clinical images to be transmitted from Teddington Memorial Hospital to West Middlesex University Hospital where the Consultant Radiologists can view and provide immediate clinical advice where necessary.

Other services provided in the Diagnostic department include ultrasound, echocardiography and breast screening (by referral only).

The team consists of:

  • Radiographers
