As teenagers across the country eagerly await the release of their A-level results in August, students now need to be making important decisions on their future career aspirations and academic progression.
Apprenticeships are a fantastic alternative to university as they allow young people to gain a qualification whilst practically learning the skills to apply their education and earning a salary at the same time.
Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust (HRCH) has been running a number of apprenticeship roadshows to attract young students into the NHS and increase their knowledge about the varied roles and career pathways available within the NHS.
The trust is currently preparing for launching several apprenticeship pathways at the end of September 2017, these include:
Business administration - NVQ Level 3
Digital services (IT, data analysis) - Level 4: Higher apprenticeship
Finance & accountancy - Level 4: Higher apprenticeships
Leadership and management - Level 5: Foundation degree
Health assistant practitioner
Healthcare support worker (clinical healthcare support) - Level 2/ Level 3: Clinical healthcare support diploma
