Friday 2 June 2017
We said thank you to our dedicated team of volunteers at Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust (HRCH) by holding a special volunteers’ tea party as part of Volunteers’ Week 2017.
Volunteers from across the trust came along to enjoy complimentary tea and cake on the afternoon of Friday 2 June, at Teddington Health and Social Care Centre.
At the event, chairman Stephen Swords thanked all of the volunteers for their help and hard work – and presented long service awards certificates to the trust’s volunteer staff who have been working for HRCH for 10 years or more.
Stephen said: “I would like to thank all of our volunteers for the valuable contribution that they staff make to local NHS services and to local people. This event is just a small way of recognising the incredible amount of work and time that our volunteers give to HRCH – which we estimate to be around 12,000 hours per annum.
“A special mention to the twelve volunteers who have qualified for long service awards, serving for 10 years or more. We estimate that these staff have amassed an impressive 168 years of service between them”.
