Infection prevention and control
We take all possible measures to keep our patients and clients safe and minimise the risk of infection - whether being cared for at home, in a community clinic or as an inpatient.
Our team of specialist nurses is responsible for advising on and promoting best infection prevention and control practise in accordance with evidence based standards and national guidance. The team also provides training and education for our staff.
How you can help
Visitors to our sites can help us by cleaning their hands with the disinfectant hand rub available when entering and leaving areas where healthcare is being provided.
Please report any concerns about cleanliness, equipment or practise to a member of staff.
Together we can minimise the risk of acquiring a healthcare associated infection.
