Autism assessment - Adults (Hounslow)

The Hounslow Adult Autism Assessment and Diagnostic Service provides specialist diagnostic assessments for adults residing in Hounslow or who have a Hounslow CCG GP who may benefit from the clarification of a possible diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).

Assessments will be carried out by clinical psychologists with training in specialist assessments for ASCs.

The service also provides training on autism awareness and working with autism. This training will be offered not only to health and care professionals, but also to other workers from an array of services in Hounslow who may interface with adults with ASCs.

Our missed appointment / DNA policy

If you cannot attend your appointment for any reason please let us know as soon as possible, giving at least 24 hours’ notice. We can then offer the appointment to someone else.

Appointments that are not cancelled at least 24 hours ahead of the scheduled appointment time are considered as 'did not attend' (DNA).

People who miss (DNA) two appointments will be discharged from the service and their referrer will be notified.  This is to be done to ensure equity and timely access to the service.
